If I Shatter Will They See Me?
Pastel on watercolor paper
In this piece, I explore the theme of deformation as a symbol of human decline through our mental and emotional states deteriorating as our dependency on technology deepens. The work reflects on the long-term psychological effects of growing up with unrestricted internet access during my formative years. Technology was not merely a tool or became a pervasive presence, shaping my perception of myself, the world, and my role within it in ways that have left lasting scars.
