In collaboration with The Paul Taylor Dance Company, responding to the dance “The Word.” Taking inspiration from the shadows projected on the wall throughout the dance and the desperation I felt from the gestures and movements of the dancers. Throughout the piece, there seems to be lots of thrashing and intense movements, and I wanted to interpret that intensity into a piece that I thought represented the movements of the dance.
